Shaping the future of restaurants with a digital and data oriented approach
We are at the very center of an inflection point for the digitisation of the restaurant industry. COVID-19 is impacting the restaurant industry harder as any other crisis has done in the past. In many European countries the lockdown is softening and a new normal is starting. New normal clearly says that the “business as usual” will not go back to the time before COVID-19. Restaurant owners are forced to change the way they manage their restaurants, macro forces have sped up the need for digital tools. For us Rest-Tech passionate its the time to step up and support even more the restaurant and F&B business all over the world.
In this interview, together with Simon Bernhard — we are giving a high level overview of what are the best recipes to not be a follower but a leader in the digitisation of your F&B business. We will touch base with the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concept for restaurants, which helps to test business ideas with little investments. Another macro force shaping the interconnectivity and digital penetration into this industry is given by political forces changing the restaurant landscapes, for example the TSE Fiscalization happening in Germany right now.
